BenD Update – 27-11-2011

With roughly a quarter of the film shot and in the can (or tape case, since we’re shooting on dvcam), principal photography on BenD is officially going on hiatus until early January 2012.

So far things have been going slowly but successfully, but for now it’s time to enjoy December in all it’s glory (snow, buildings, all that stuff) and take a break.

However we’re all excited to return in January and finish this project with hopes for some kind of cut assembled in late Summer 2012.

For now we at Enlightenment Pictures like to be the first (considering it’s still November) to wish you all a Merry Christmas……. too soon?

Feature Announcement

Enlightenment Pictures is happy to announce that BenD, a previously attempted production, is back in the works and is currently undergoing stages of principal photography.

Written & Directed by Séamus Hanly, BenD will be Enlightenment Pictures’ first feature length film as well as Séamus’ feature debut.

Starring Colm Kearns, BenD tells the story of a lone young man who lives a nocturnal existence having experienced a bizarre car accident. While wandering through the streets of his neighbourhood he encounters strange people in the night and slowly unravels the mystery of his situation.

Produced by Tony Flynn, BenD will continue to be filmed over next 6-7 months and will hopefully be near completion some time in late 2012.

The Enlightenment Pictures site can now be reached under:

The .tk address is still usable, however it will be deactivated by the end of October.

The Lonely Days website has also been changed and is now accessible by:

http://www.lonely-days.com

We suggest on using these new domains to access these sites from now on. Also check below for new posts because this one will be on the front page for a while so people can know about the new addresses.

UPDATE: ‘.tk’ domain has now been deactivated. This is no longer a sticky post.
